A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City
During my recent stay at a charming hotel in Istanbul, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect location and helpful staff. The hotel was conveniently situated right at the city center, making it easy to explore the vibrant streets of Istanbul. Additionally, it was just a short walk away from the tram station, providing excellent transportation options.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as limited breakfast options and the absence of amenities like dental and shaving kits, I still had a wonderful stay. The hotel's convenient location, attentive staff, and peaceful ambiance far outweighed any minor inconveniences.

The hotel is located in a serene area without noises and is accessible on tram line 1. It has a small staircase from the main street, but there is a taxi park at the bottom. the room and bathroom are clean with good maintenance culture. the staffs are hospitable and accommodating. the breakfast menu is excellent with various foods, including hot soup, cold cuts, sweets, yogurt, and others.
The hotel's poor internet connection requires guests to make alternative arrangements.

I specifically chose Grand Marcello because of its proximity to Beyazit Square, a landmark I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Express check-in and check-out, as well as the 24-hour front desk service. The restaurant and coffee shop also offered delicious meals and snacks.
Stairs, small & unclean rooms, heating issues, high price.

Had a pleasant experience during my Easter stay. The staff was amiable and accommodating, always willing to help. The location was ideal, close to the heart of the city with easy access to transportation. The rooms were well-maintained, spotless, and comfortable. The breakfast, though limited, was delicious.
There were no basic amenities in the room, like dental or shaving kits, and no cribs were given despite requesting one. , the access to the hotel had around 20 stairs, which could be problematic for older people or those with babies.
